Where Ma Lovely Siblings At?

So this year raya again, I did not have a 'sister' that will doll-up for me or even provide makeups instruments for my other sisters. This year raya again, I did not wear high heels or even have nice pumps to sashay down the street. This year raya again, I did not have someone scolding me if I wake up late for raya prayers or if I didnt help Mama in the kitchen.

But this year raya, I definitely have a lot of whatsapp images being exchanged and live videos being screened all the way from Perth.

Oh how I miss my sister and her family not forgetting my new born niece, baby lish.

I'll always wonder if she gets to eat her favourite non spicy rendang, udang, ayam masak merah and also kuih tart or cornflakes. I'll always have this mindset that she gets to eat western food during first day of raya, but no eh!, it's just my silly imagination. Haha. Her parents-in-law are great cooks and my sister is so fortunate to have them too! (I doa that my parents-in-law are nicest human beings and treat me well too! Hehe)

This year raya we were in cerulean blue! Do we siblings look alike?

A Sweet Act

I woke up today feeling so groggy and as usual, sleepy.

Oh well maybe because I slept at around 2am-ish cause I was busy talking to Syura? Hah.

Before going to work, I took out my black jubah from my wardrobe & placed it near the ironing board.

I wanted to bathe straight away WHEN I saw a bed at my parent's room.

SO.

I decided to continue sleeping for 15 mins. Hahaha!

When I woke up (no I wasnt late for work), I hurriedly went out to the living room because remember I have my jubah to iron?

That's when I saw Ismail, my lil bro, ironed the jubah for me. He said 'Nah Kak. I ironed for you already'.

I INSTANTLY MELT I TELL YOU. My tiredness swept away, I was so alert the moment I realised my lil bro did ironing for me!

My lil bro never does ironing for me before. That explains why I was flabbergasted.

Dear Ismail, you know whatever you do, Kakak still love you? Even if you're sometimes mad at me cause I'm always late in meeting you. Hehe.

A Dream Come True

I believe that if you have a passion for a thing, one will go all out in achieving their dreams be it they have to travel to another country, take up certain languages or even buy items related to their hobby.

My lil brother, Ismail is one good example. He for once really loves to cook. Western cook to be exact. Initially, our family didnt know what what his passion was. I mean like for me, I love accounting, for Syura she loves dentistry and for Abe he loves jobs like Firefighter. But for Ismail?

That's when he got an attachment as an assistant chef at Marina Bay Sands. Every day he will always inform me how's life as an assistant chef be like. Oh boy, you wouldnt want to know. Marina Bay Sands' chefs are all top notched professional and dont play play with them ley.

The chefs can cook wonderful cuisines and their presentable of food is superb. But all good things come to an end. Ismail decided to leave the job for some reasons and so he was on the go in looking for another chef-related job.

To cut the story short, Alhamdulillah after Ramadhan, Ismail got a job at an eatery near Toa Payoh. I could never be more happy for him. Every day he will come to my room, smiling and say 'Kak today's a good day, no complaint'. Or even 'Kak, today my head chef wasnt happy with me. Cause I lost focus'. Haha. My lil rascal so cuteee.

And yes, I'm so elated in seeing my lil brother who is now working in another company. Do your best dear Ismail. Dont be too complacent and always accept feedbacks openly because that's one of the process of learning.

Pangkor Laut Resort, This December?

I always love sceneries, beaches and calming environment.

Got to know a place in Malaysia, Pangkor Laut Resort that exactly has got what I want.

I mean, there are more beautiful and alluring places like Langkawi, Pulau Redang or even Tioman Island, but I dunno why I would wanna try and visit Pangkor Laut Resort leh.

Here are some of the pictures that I googled.

Of course, pictures above are courtesy of Google and Pangkor Laut Resort.

I do not want to expect a nice view actually because pictures, lie. People can edit so professionally using high contrast, saturation and temperature control. This is what you get if you are living in high technology.

A meal that looks so sumptuous in the menu, and when presented to you, it's the opposite. I say no more because I think you guys will get it right? Haha.

Told my lil sister, Raudhah that if she passed her End of Year examinations, I will bring her to Pangkor. I showed her the images and she beamed in delight upon seeing the breathtaking scenes.

And just look what this little rascal whatsapped me. We are not even near December and you have yet to take your exams too. -.-

So, how family holiday to Pangkor Laut Resort? Hmm Insya'allah.

4 hours in Malaysia.

My father and 2 of my cousins-Uncle Rahman and Auntie Kiah went to Johor Bahru, Malaysia to do some groceries shopping. They would always love to visit Larkin Sentral,Giant etc as these stores sell cheap and affordable items. My father will always make a point of heading to Malaysia to buy the basic kitchen necessities there as he thinks that the items he buys are all worth it. Mind you, one should multiply 2.2 from Singapore money to be converted to Malaysian Ringgit [RM]. So lets say one converted to a $50 Singapore note, he will get RM110. Big sum doesn't? And again, it depends on which day one is converting the money. The number 2.2 is not a fixed value. It may varies from day to day.

That's my big-size daddy for you! And he's birthday is coming. On 26 April. Wah. Few more weeks and my dad is a chubby 31 years of age! Hehe.

A picture of the road in front of my house.. My place is always filled with oncoming vehicles, friendly passer-bys and erm myriads of taxis? Oh yes. I am so fortunate to live here. My place has all sorts of transportation one could ever ask for. From the long trains, fast coming buses and expensive cabs! So, whenever I am late to school, I would just hail, and tup.. a cab comes to my rescue! Did many know? This area above would always encounter road accidents. Okay. Questions of why and how it occurred is another story yeah.

That's my fast & furious Uncle Rahman! Driving a Suzuki Swift for about 2 years, he is sucha a caring and understanding uncle of mine. Whenever I go out with him, he will never fail to enquire about my studies, ask about my school and how I am doing so far. Mixed with Arab + Chinese blood, he is the sort that hates to waste time. For instance, he does not like to dawdle or dilly dally on things.

The 3 elderlies making their way down to eat. We ate at the restaurant which was at Larkin Sentral. Larkin Sentral is always filled with many Singaporean visitors. It's a place where one could bargain for more cheaper price of the fish, cut hair at the nearby salon and not forgetting ...eating of Murtabak!

I realised that I forgot to snap Auntie Kiah's picture alone. Next time, okay? :)

After filling our stomachs with chicken murtabak, milo ice and nescafe, we made our way to the wet market. Daddy wanted to buy basic items such as fruits, mee etc...

The market vendors.

Whenever I visit this particular market, Daddy never fails in visiting this vendor. Now I know why he likes it because this vendor sells ready-make food such as epok-epok,keepok,prata and many more. At home we will just snip off the packaging, light up the stove and be ready to slide the food down the wok to cook. Simple and Handy aren't?

Next vendor will be the dry-food type. Daddy always buy ikan-bilis,crackers and ketchup here!

A Chinese elderly selling different types of magazines and newspapers just outside the market.

Look what I found. A cute little kitten outside the market. :')

And another one! This time round, this cat shape size is huge!!

The elderlies packing and keeping the items neat and proper.

As we finished shopping at Larkin Sentral, we headed to Maslee Supermarket. It is somehow like NTUC Fairprice here in Singapore!

Hehe. See my Daddy's baby bump! LOL. So cute lar him!

This is the wet area where fishes, squids and fishballs are available here!

Lastly, its paying of groceries time! YAY!

I really had a fun and enjoyable time in Malaysia. Although it was just a mere 4 hours journey, I experienced how life in Malaysia was suppose to be. Their houses, markets and toilets may not be as equal standards to us, but hey they make Halal hard-earned money right?.That is more important than anything else, yeah?

Till we meet again. In Shaa Allah.

Congrats, big sis!

I was sleeping soundly when the ringtone of my sis's phone,Kak Nurul, jolted me. And there goes my beauty sleep. I heard Kak Nurul was conversing gleefully and incessantly on the phone. With that,I thought.
Was she talking to her long-lost pen pal? Or was she talking to my auntie? LOL.

Little did I know that she was talking to her head of cabin crew management. She screamed the whole house saying that 'YAY! I've got promoted!' Then I realised, my sis is going to be a senior cabin crew that will don on a red colour SilkAir uniform. Wah! So proud of her! I know she has been wanting and eyeing on that meaningful position since last year. Allah s.w.t heard her prayers and granted her the wish. She is now one of the 26 air-stewardess that will change the green-coloured uniform to a red one.

I wished to be a cabin crew in charge. I have worked and strived hard for all these years. I didn't take as much MCs. At work, I always serve my passengers the best as they are my first priority. Even though it may seems tiring,I'll always ensure that I'll make the passengers love my hospitality and service.
Seen and read that caption above? Hehe. I know that Kak Nurul's always put an utmost importance in any of her jobs. Whether it being an emcee for a wedding, a teacher to Musa and Raudhah or even her duty in always telling me to switch off my laptop's charger plug. Heh. As the saying goes, do your best in everything. Whether it'll be a non-high paying job or not, God will know our sincerity and perseverance in doing so.

Geez. Why is my sister so drop-dead gorgeous? No wonder there's lotsa men wooing on her. Even the 5 barbie dolls she's holding aren't as beautiful as her.Hehe.

That's my sis when she was small! When she was young, she has a privileged in riding a horse, going for Umrah and now she has this opportunity in religiously boarding flights to Phnom Penh, China, Cheng Du all! Look how fortunate my sister is. Kak, do you know that I've not even once stepped into a plane before? And oh. My O levels gift holiday in Krabi, you also havent fulfilled yet,you know?! *Giving hints*

Whatever apparels she dons always look best on her. Speaking of which, when will you be entering school life, kak? If I am not wrong, the admission is in June right? Advice you in studying in my school, you disagree. Hmm. At least, we can go to school together you know.Heh.

Kak Nurul and me! Do we look alike? I think we don't.But our attitude is kinda similar. We love to rage when our room is in mess, cant find our misplaced things or even when mama cooks spicy food. #Oh well.

And to Kak Nurul, once again congratulations in being a cabin crew in charge. Now I have to be extra careful in ironing your red colour uniform. And also mega careful in not switching off your Mickey Mouse alarm clock. If not, The Dragon of SilkAir will show its mighty power!

Till we meet again. In'shaa'Allah
