3 Married + 1 Single

First 2017 meet up with my girls that I made friends with from a flea!

You see, something about joining events and booth is, you'll get to meet different business owners and from there you start your networking & communicating!

From Left: Mus from Halo.May, Me, Shana from Sarah Raushana and Kak Hani from Hani Rafie & Co

*Clearly, I didnt get the memo to wear black shawl pfft*

Missing Kak Tina though! From the meetup above, I learnt something about miscarriage, how one goes through IVF process intensively and how you can get married to your husband even if you were not as close during school days.

I really think Allah is the best planner ever. He may not be yours now, but He's yours in 3 years to come.

You may quarrel, separated and not be in talking terms, but if he's your jodoh, he will be.

Why so mushy Nabilah? Heh

And I came across this hadith too which I really need to reflect;

“If news about your brother reaches you and it is
something you dislike, then try to find an excuse for it. If you
can’t find an excuse, then say to yourself: Perhaps he has an
excuse that I do not know about.” [Ibn ’Asakir]

Hey Hayfa :Women of Haya 2016

So on 5th of Nov, Hey Hayfa participated for an event organised by Kaifiyyah.

The name of the event is Women of Haya. Hayaa in Arabic means modesty and shyness for a Muslimah to portray themselves inner and outwardly.

This was the 3rd bazaar/event Hey Hayfa participated in 2016. Previously was The Ladies Souq, Lokals for Lokals and now Women of Haya.

I must say each of every event taught me different things. I learnt so much about networking, branding and customer service when joining these bazaars, mixing with the other brand owners and meeting different group of target market publicized by the organizers.

Tadaaa! Can you spot our logo? Hehehe.

The few that always be with us whenever we decide to join event.

From left: Musfirah from Halo.May, My sister and I and Kak Tina from Tia by Ts

During the event too, our jubah railing fell off (cause I think maybe it outweighed the maximum no of clothes) and we were so in panicky mode to get a substitute railing. What we did was to use a tape to secure the railing (this was a no choice and wasnt a bad idea after all. haha)

Of course there are so many learning points to learn from this bazaar.

1) Bring your own clothes railing. Avoid using/renting out organizer railing cause you do not know how much jubahs u can hang with theirs. You already are accustomed with your own railing so might as well use yours.

2) Print out price labels for your clothes. Some customers are shy to even ask because they scared that it's expensive but it's actually not.

3) Display all clothes sizes on the railing. We thought that our 3XL sizes were out of stock but when we reached home and did stock take, to our horror, we still have some left.So you see, you should just display all sizes. Extras jubah can be put inside the storage spaces

And so Hey Hayfa Leaders signing out yaw. We were hugging our Hayfa Cut Jubah in White and we have yet to do a photoshoot for this upcoming one.

So see ya next time for another event in Dec!

My Lil Chef

He has the weirdest character in our family.
He broke record of not entering NS in our family.
He is someone so dedicated and discipline if you spy him quietly.
He is so punctual for work than me.
He is so honest that whatever stuff he takes at work, he will record it down and tell his supervisor (eventhough he doesnt need to)

Dear lil bro,

Sometimes you see me scolding & yelling at you and you feel so sad
Sometimes you see me throwing tantrums at you and you distant yourself from me for a while.
Sometimes you see me happily smiling while using my phone and u come near and disturb me.
Sometimes you know that Im feeling famish so you quickly whip up some food for me to eat.

Just so you know deep down, Kakak is so proud of you.
I've never seen any of my siblings micro managing me telling me to do this and that (only my lecturers do that)
Continue to make our family proud and may Allah gives you a restaurant one day!

NEW IN: Hayfa Cut Jubah

Hayfa Division Jubah, Hayfa Jacket Jubah, Hayfa Chill Jubah and now HAYFA CUT JUBAH!

Just for this design, we have a total of 10 colours and 2 sizes!

Previously our Hayfa Cut Jubah consists mainly pastel colours. So Syura and I decided to include bold and pastel colours for our new design; Hayfa Cut Jubah!

Hayfa Girl Band Group

And, dont know why I decided to bring in black and WHITE jubah for this design. This is the first time Hey Hayfa brought in a literally off white jubah! Due to because umrah season coming and I feel in Singapore it's hard to find a jubah that's full white with lining and pocket attached of course! Hehe.

Our very first Hayfa Cut Jubah in White. Sesuci Murni sahabatku ini.

I really hope our Hey Hayfa customers love our newly launched Hayfa Cut Jubah. I meant, we designed our own jubahs from scratch & to think that it all produced to become so beautiful and slick, shows that our hard work of travelling& sketching are all paid off.

Okay, till the next entry with me looking all so pale wearing Hayfa Cut Jubah in Cerulean Blue.

#Mysarcasticmom

Mama was preparing for me breakfast as usual before I headed to work.

Just for laugh, I asked Mama '

'Ma, do you know how to get rid of fat cheeks on me?'

I thought she would recommend me some jamu, doctor inclined face exercise like how Papa would always do, but then she replied this.

"You know Nabilah, we must be very grateful & fortunate of what Allah has given us. We always see the imperfections, but Allah give us perfection. You don't need to compare yourself with celebrities/online personnel that are gorgeous, classy or sleek. Your confidence will stoop low. Just compare it with a monkey, cow. Your self esteem will increase"

I literally laughed when she mentioned the latter sentences.

MA. YOU. SO. FUNNY. BUT. YEAH. TRUE.

So, is your mom as sarcastic as my mom? Oh wait, we shouldn't compare right? LOL

My Weird Practice in the Train

You know sometimes you feel so lethargic after work/school, you will always pray that you have a seat amidst the crowded surrounding in the train?

When you have the time of the month yet you still have to go to work and you need a seat badly, you feel like just patting to someone and say ' Can I have a seat please?'

Or maybe you try out new shoes and that new shoes give you blisters that you desperately need a seat in the train?

I'M. IN. THAT. SITUATION. WAY. COUNTLESS. OF. TIMES. LAR.

And how do I overcome the situation?

Hahahaha. Don't laugh okay. It sounds funny and really is funny but you know I'm the type of person where I can go all out just to get a seat in the train.

So what do I do?

I doa/supplicate to Allah.

Yes, really. I’m not even kidding.

It goes something like ‘Dear Allah, I have cramps/blisters and I need the seat badly. If I were given an empty seat, please avoid senior citizens, pregnant ladies from coming near to me as I really need to sit.’

And from then on, no senior citizens or pregnant ladies ever stand in front of me. I mean, I never come across those age group when I supplicate that doa.

Kindly note that there is no basis, evidence of the doa above as that’s not even a hadith. That’s a doa from myself to Allah in times of need where I really in need of a seat.

I tried couple of times and it works. If you are so makcik2 like me, then you should try this!

Fortunate

You know sometimes you'd ask yourself why are you not born in a wealthy family?

You ask yourself why arent you parents have millions of dollars to be given to you without you working?

You ask yourself why life is so difficult; Everything needs money basically to survive?

You ask yourself why some people are so blessed with BMW, Mercedes cars, big houses and a swimming pool yet they dont always use the services/cars on a daily basis?

You ask yourself why other youths are busy spending money, not focusing in class, buy tons of branded stuff while you are saving every cents of your penny just to pay for school fees?

If you know what Allah has for you, you would be glad and say 'Alhamdulillah'.

Allah is never wrong and always remember Allah has your back, dear self.
