Supplication after Tasyahud Akhir

The word "Supplication" means Dua in Arabic & Malay

Aboo Hurayrah رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰعنه said:

The Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said,

“When one of you finishes the last tashahhud (testimony of faith), he should seek refuge in ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) from four things:

  • From the Punishment of Hell,
  • from the Punishment of the Grave,
  • from the trials of life and death,
  • and from the evil trials of the Maseehud-Dajjaa l (Anti-Christ).” [Muslim]

Allaahumma 'innee 'a'huthu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, wa min 'athaabi jahannama, wa min fitnatil-mahyaa walmamaati, wa min sharri fitnatil-maseehid-dajjaal.

O ALLAH (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى), I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hell-fire, and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah.

[Al-Bukhari 2/102, Muslim 1/412]
