Day 1 in Perth

Alhamdullilah, I really wanted a getaway at a very calm and scenic place this September. Prolly because i have 12 days of annual leave that I need to clear, I decided to visit Western Australia, Perth to visit my sister who had just migrated there after she got married.

My views were supported by my father and soon after Asyura followed suit. Other siblings Isa, Ismail, Raudhah, Musa were not able to follow due to NS and school commitments. Therefore, poor Mama need to stay in Singapore just to take care of those lil rascals. Haha.

The journey from Singapore to Perth takes approximately 4 hours and 35 mins. And the cloud so beautiful lahh.

Kak Nurul's house is so beautifully big. She deserves it. She's someone who have been so kind and generous and so Allah reward her with her humble husband with huge abode.

Our first place we visited was Cockburn Gateway Shopping City.

Departmental stores like Big W, Target, Buy and Less it's like Singapore's version of Robinsons, Takashimaya etc.

The fast foods that I saw was entertaining too. Such as KFC, Macdonalds, Hungry Jack and red Rooster.

After which, we went to eat at Churros.

It was post winter but oh my it was so cold. After which, we headed to Spudshed. It's a 24 hours supermarket that sells mostly vegetables and of course it's Papa's heaven place!

And the ice creams! None of the brands I've ever seen in Singapore!

After which, we headed to Million grocery store. The place where kak nurul and Mak(kak nurul's mom in law) will get the necessary home groceries.

After much shopping, we called it a day.
In Perth city, neighbours wont usually get out of their house to chit chat with other acquantainces. The lifestyle here is normally indoors and once its 630pm it's started to get dark already.

That's when people stay at home, cook their own dinner. At 8pm, we watched movies at home too. Oh no going teh tarik, NTUC or even meeting friends outside.

Perth is just a peaceful environment to stay in.

The view outside of Kak Nurul's house. Beautiful isn't?

See ya tmr for Day 2 post.
